Development of Three-Dimensional Virtual Histological Imaging Technology

Our lab is conducting research to present a new paradigm in the medical and life sciences by combining state-of-the-art image processing technology and artificial intelligence (AI). In particular, we are developing innovative technologies that generate three-dimensional virtual H&E biopsy images by optically transparent processing three-dimensional biological specimens, obtaining fluorescent images, and analyzing them with AI-based deep learning technology.This study opens up the possibility of replacing traditional complex and time-consuming biopsy processes, enabling more precise and efficient three-dimensional tissue analysis. This project, which visualizes the microstructure of biological tissue at high resolution and provides a way for new research and clinical applications through quantitative data, is a representative example of the laboratory's technology and creativity.
